While developing the concept for EMU1.1, we decided to get to work and that’s how the first EMOVEUTIL prototype took shape – EMU0
The “design” of the chassis was engineered with a pencil on paper, in mid-December 2020, and made in just 2 days, the total length being 3.2 m, and the width 0.63 m.
We continued with the installation of the rear axle, with suspension on lamellar springs and the engine assembly with reducer.
At the front we have adapted a car axle with all the suspension assemblies with coil springs, steering, connecting rods, etc.
To protect the driver and passengers, we created and fitted a pipe frame.
This was followed by the making and mounting of the rear and front dump trucks.
Rear dump truck with 3 folding shutters and a capacity of 500 kg, (L = 1.5m, l = 1 m) tilting manually and with the help of a telescope.
Front bucket with 1 folding shutter and a capacity of 150 kg (L = 0.7 m, l = 1 m), also tilting and with the help of a telescope.
The management position was designed to be simple, spacious and as practical as possible.
Emu0 has an estimated range of about 100 km, with encapsulated lead-gel batteries.
Although the engine is 1KW, the vehicle can reach a speed of 40km / h and at the same time can be limited to a speed of 20km / h.
Charging time is 6-8 hours.
Total dimensions: L = 3.5 m, l = 1 m, ground clearance = 23 cm
This prototype was completed in mid-January.
